Gold and Blue Latte Stone metal print by Michelle Pier. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
I painted this Latte Stone during one of the Creative Sessions I hold. Latte stones are an important structure and symbol here on Guam, dating back to the time of our Chamorro ancestors who built their houses on top of the stones. The top piece is the “tasa” and the base is the “lusong.” I went for an abstract blue and gold look with this piece for an almost underwater feel.
